In food applications it may be blended with corn or sucrose syrups, or used alone as the sole sweetener in baked goods, STALEYDEX® 130 is a clear, colorless liquid of high purity produced from pure crystalline dextrose, made under a patented Primient process. Unique manufacturing conditions involving enzyme conversion, carbon decolorization, resin refining, and “controlled crystallization” ensure its blandness, clarity, and low ash content. Special processing also eliminates unwanted trace minerals and elements that, if present, could adversely affect fermentation reactions and shelf life.
